Department of Community Health Nursing/Public Health Nursing

Our laboratory

The Department of Community Health Nursing/Public Health Nursing was established in April 1992. Community health nursing aims to understand the nursing needs of individuals and families living in the community, as well as the community as a whole, to improve their health and quality of life.
Our research contributes to developing a society where people can live comfortably in response to their needs. In addition, we are training public health nurses responsible for such community building in the “Public Health Nurse Education Course” of the master’s degree program.

Public health nursing practice is like working to solve seemingly unsolvable problems while running. We must continue thinking and sharing knowledge with others. We aimed to nurture public health nurses using the researcher’s mindset and researchers using the public health nurse’s mindset. With your help, we will continue contributing to the development of community and public health nurses.
